CA-Clipper

An application development system formerly from Computer Associates and originally developed by the Nantucket Corporation. Introduced as a dBASE compiler, it evolved into a programming language with many unique features that supports dBASE and non-dBASE databases. Clipper generates DOS programs, but its Windows-based IDE allows you to debug DOS applications from within the Windows environment. CA sold Clipper's source code to GrafX Software Development Tools, Inc. in 2002. For more information, visit www.grafxsoft.com.
