CAD 3D (computer-aided drafting) lets users plan anything from chairs to motorcycles and produce professional drawings, specifications, and blueprint-style plans. Drawings can be attempted in 2D or 3D (with changes made in 2D instantly applied in 3D and vice versa), colors and textures can be applied, professional symbols can be inserted, and all creations can be toured in full 3D. Objects can be imported and exported to and from Home Design 3D and Landscape Design 3D. Over 100 photo-realistic surface textures, from brick to marble, are available.
