Cameron Elementary School is an elementary school in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. This school participates its best in events such as fundraising, sports and competitions.
This year there are about 53 grade 7 students that are going to graduate at Cameron. Cameron Elementary School is a feeder or in-catchment school to Burnaby Mountain Secondary School, so students graduating from Cameron are immediately placed into Burnaby Mountain Secondary.

Sports
In 2006, Cameron Elementary competed in the local track and field competition at Swangard Stadium. The grade 5 boys team came in first in the boys 4x100 m relay.
Leadership
The leadership community is a group of students that help make the school a better place. Joining leadership is not mandatory, but it is a commitment and there are consequences for students who don't participate to the greatest of their ability.
Grade 7 Public Speaking Contest
Each year, grade 7 students of Cameron participate in a grade 7 public speaking contest. In 2007, the topic was the Journey is the Destination.This year 6 students managed to make it to the school speech finals where they presented to 3 judges and the intermediates of Cameron. Out of the 6 students 2 were chosen to go to the Zonal finals. The Zonal finals consists of many schools in Burnaby, many as good or better than these 2 chosen students.
