Arthur's last battle, fought after the peace secured at Mount Badon, thought to be AD 537 or 539. The site has been variously identified: the Camel River at Camelford, Cornwall; the Cam near Cadbury; near Salisbury; in Somerset; at Camboglanna in Rheged on the western part of Hadrian's Wall, now called Birdoswald.
