Thomas Campbell

Thomas Campbell (February 1, 1763January 4, 1854) was a Presbyterian minister important in the Second Great Awakening of the United States. Born in County Down, northern Ireland, he began a religious reform movement on the American frontier. He was joined in the work by his son Alexander Campbell. Their movement was later known as the Campbell-Stone movement.

Life events

First Meeting house of the Disciples in Brush Run, Pa. It was built in 1811 by the Christian Association of Washington.
