Camping La Belle Etoile La Rochette, ☎ 01 64 39 48 12, www.camp-la-belle-etoile.com. This campsite just south of Melun (on the Seine) is grassy, but lacks shade in high summer. There’s a large playground, small swimming pool, café and shop. You can bring a tent or rent a bungalow or tented pavilion (€67-€77, sleeps six). Not within walking distance of anything. Follow camping signs from La Rochette.
