Cannero Riviera ([càn-ne-ro]; in Piedmontese Càner), is a comune with a population of 1,073 and an area of 14.46 km² in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region Piedmont. The settlement is situated on the western shore of Lago Maggiore; it is about 130 km northeast of Turin and about 15 km northeast of Verbania.

Cannero Riviera borders the following municipalities: Aurano, Cannobio, Oggebbio, Trarego Viggiona; and across the lake in the Lombard Province of Varese: Brezzo di Bedero, Germignaga, Luino.

The nineteenth-century politician Massimo D’Azeglio spent his last years in his villa here.
