Capital Cargo International Airlines provides air cargo services using a fleet of about 15 Boeing 727-200 freighters. The company primarily serves its customers under ACMI contracts, in which Capital Cargo provides aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance and the customer bears other operating expenses. Capital Cargo also offers on-demand air cargo transportation. The company's customers include cargo carriers that find it more economical to charter aircraft than to expand their own fleets. The company is a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group, a provider of air transport and package sorting services.
