Caradog of Llancarfan

Twelfth-century Welsh historian, sometimes known by his patronymic ap Llefoed, who is cited as a contemporary of Geoffrey of Monmouth. If he completed Geoffrey's work, the text has not survived. He is thought to be the author of the Latin Vita Gildae, Life of Gildas, which includes much Arthuriana. Llancarfan is a village in Glamorganshire.
