Plot

In this feature-length adaptation of the popular anime series Cardcaptors, Sakura, the teenager who guards the all-powerful Clow Cards, has just won a vacation for four in Hong Kong. Sakura invites along her close friend Madison, her brother, and her brother's pal, Julian (whom Sakura has eyes for). The four teens are accompanied by Kero, the creature who helps Sakura protect the cards, and his friends, Meilin and Li. However, the voyage to Hong Kong proves unexpectedly eventful when a evil female sorcerer who once ran afoul of the power of the Clows ambushes the group, and Sakura and Kero's strength is put to the test. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
