Plot

Eva Longoria stars in this steamy thriller about a woman on the run from both the police and herself. Carlita (Longoria) is a young woman who dreams of becoming a star as a dancer, but her life is unexpectedly turned upside down one evening when she visits a nightclub in Miami. Gunfire breaks out, and when the smoke clears, one person is dead and Carlita has been accused of the crime. Carlita is innocent but isn't sure how to prove it, and she goes underground, changing her name to stay one step ahead of the law. Ironically, under her new alias, Carlita finally gets a break as a performer in South Beach, but the crime that changed her life still hangs over her head.
