There's nothing abstract about Carlo Corporation, the group of affiliated construction and development companies owned by the Catenacci family. The group (also known as Carlo Companies) includes transportation construction and site development firm John Carlo, Inc. Another division, National Asphalt Products, provides asphalt, aggregates, and portable crushing units in southeastern Michigan. Residential and commercial real estate development is handled by Trinity Land Development. Superior Aggregates Company, based in Canada, produces asphalt and aggregates for highway construction. Carlo Environmental Technologies specializes in underground storage tank removal, landfill construction, and wetland mitigation.
