Plot
This film brings more ribald nonsense from the British "Carry On" gang. This time the setting is the Spanish resort town of Elsbels. A group of stereotypical British tourists - led by courier Stuart Farquhar (Kenneth Williams) show up for a four-day weekend at a "luxury hotel." There are only two setbacks: the hotel doesn't seem to be finished yet...and it's raining through the roof. Oh, yes...all the staff members look suspiciously like the same person. Stalwart "Carry On" troupers Sid James, Kenneth Williams, Charles Hawtrey, Joan Sims, Kenneth Connor and Hattie Jacques are in attendance, while the toothsome Barbara Windsor shows up as "Miss Sadie Tompkins". ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Plot Summary
A group of English holiday makers take a package holiday to the sunny resort of Elsbels, only to find the hotel is only half built.
The holiday makers include pub landlord Vic Flange (Sid James) who planned to liaise with the sexy Sadie Tomkins (Barbara Windsor) on the tour, until his wife Cora (Joan Sims) cottoned-on and decided to accompany Sid at the last minute. They are joined the prudish Evelyn Blunt (June Whitfield), her long-suffering husband Stanley (Kenneth Connor), brash Scotsman Bert Conway (Jimmy Logan), and drunken mummy's boy Eustace Tuttle (Charles Hawtrey).
Lily (Sally Geeson) and Marge (Carol Hawkins) are two attractive young women disappointed by the lack of eligible young men. However Marge strikes up a friendship with Brother Bernard (Bernard Bresslaw), a novice monk.
Vic's renewed attempts to romance Sadie are thwarted by Cora. Bert emerges as a rival for Sadie's affections. Evelyn stays at the deserted hotel during the tour's visit to the local market place, dallying with Giorgio. The other holiday makers spend a night in prison after a market place brawl. Bernard decides to leave the monkhood. Evelyn's time alone with Giorgio seems to have loosened her inhibitions. At the farewell party the tour members inadvertently consume too much of the local "Liquera por l'amoura", an aphrodisiac. The holiday makers pair off romantically while failing to notice that the hotel is collapsing as the torrential rains set in.
