Castelletto sopra Ticino, also referred to by locals as Castelletto Ticino or just Castelletto, is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Novara in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 km northeast of Turin and about 30 km north of Novara.
On march 28th, 1860 was born Serafino Belfanti, [1], immunologist, first Italian manufacturer of vaccines.
As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,323 and an area of 14.6 km².[1]
Castelletto sopra Ticino borders the following municipalities: Borgo Ticino, Comignago, Dormelletto, Golasecca, Sesto Calende, Somma Lombardo, and Varallo Pombia.
