Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation is the debut album by Welsh rock band Funeral for a Friend. The album was released on October 20, 2003 through Ferret Music. Produced by Colin Richardson and co-produced by the band. The album features brand-new versions of the songs "Escape Artists Never Die," "Red is the New Black", "Juno" (renamed "Juneau") and "Summer's Dead and Buried" (renamed "Waking Up"). The album made #12 on the UK charts and went Gold.
The cover of the album as well as its subsequent singles is based on the two paintings "The Lovers"[1][2] by the Belgian surrealist artist René Magritte.

The album received very positive reviews from the British music press with NME and Drowned in Sound giving it 8/10 and 9/10 respectively. It was also #17 in NME albums of the year.
The track "Rookie of the Year" was featured in the video game soundtrack of WWE Wrestlemania 21 and Burnout 3: Takedown.
