Casualty 1906 was a British hospital television drama, broadcast by the BBC in 2006.
The concept and name are taken from the long running BBC hospital series Casualty, and can thus be seen as a spin-off from this series. There is however one significant difference between the two: Casualty 1906 was set 100 years in the past. Although the plot of this single episode was fictional, all cases, characters and events taken from the actual hospital records, nurse's Ward Diaries and intimate memoirs.
This series was followed by in 2007 by Casualty 1907, consisting of three episodes, and Casualty 1909, which had a total number of six episodes, in 2009.
