This Rhino Flashback release collects ten tracks recorded during Harry Chapin's tenure with Elektra Records in the '70s, including the original versions of "Cat's in the Cradle," "Taxi," and "Sunday Morning Sunshine." This collection is a good bargain for the budget-conscious, but the better set is The Essentials on Rhino, which also includes "W*O*L*D" and "30,000 Pounds of Bananas." ~ Al Campbell, All Music Guide
