Catalyst Foundation - non-profit organization supporting orphaned, abandoned and homeless children in Vietnam through scholarship programs and direct relief efforts. It also works with children adopted from Vietnam.
In 2006 - 2007, the foundation was supported by Collective Philanthropy Project (CPP) of The Union of Northern American Vietnamese Student Associations (uNAVSA).[1]
One of the Catalyst Foundation founders, Scott Parker intended to ride his bike over 2000 miles from Oregon to Minnesota in August-September, 2007, to raise about $40,000 for building a school and safe shelter for the girls living in the garbage dump of Kien Giang.
