Cazones de Herrera is a municipality in Veracruz, Mexico. It is located in the north of the State of Veracruz, about 321 km from state capital. It has a surface of 106.11 km2. It is located at 20°42′N 97°18′W / 20.7°N 97.3°W.
The municipality of Cazones de Herrera is delimited to the north by Tuxpam, to the east by Gulf of Mexico, to the south by Papantla, to the south-west by Poza Rica and to the west by Tihuatlán. [1]
It produces principally maize, beans and chili pepper.
In Cazones de Herrera, in november place the celebration of the all Saints day.
The weather in Cazones de Herrera is warm and has rains in summer.
