Some people have little respect for TV, but CBS Television Distribution Group thinks the medium is tops. The CBS Corporation unit was created in 2006 when CBS Paramount Domestic Television merged with King World Productions. The newly formed group also includes CBS Paramount International Television. All told, the company is one of the largest suppliers of TV programming for the broadcast (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Survivor, NCIS, Medium), first-run syndication ("Entertainment Tonight, Oprah Winfrey, Wheel of Fortune"), cable (The "Dead Zone"), and pay per-view markets. The group also owns a library of classic shows such as Cheers, Frasier, I Love Lucy, Mission:Impossible, and The Honeymooners.
