Rising above the pure East-meets-West cliché of the concept for Celtic Ragas, sarod player Chinmaya Dunster and guitarist Vidroha Jamie combined for several tracks of textured, contemplative music -- softly yet nimbly played and never indicative of the new age pap so often heard on projects like these.
