C19 revival of Celtic art, mostly in Britain and Ireland, which sparked the Hiberno-Romanesque revival in architecture, and influenced the Arts-and-Crafts movement as well as the development of Art Nouveau. An example of Celtic Revival ornament can be seen at the Watts Chapel, Compton, Surrey (from 1896).
