Central Alaskan Yup'ik (also called Yupik, Yup'ik, or Central Yup'ik) is a Yupik language of the Eskimo-Aleut language group spoken in western and southwestern Alaska. Both in ethnic population and in number of speakers, Central Alaskan Yup'ik is the largest of the languages spoken by Alaska Natives. About 10,000 of the about 21,000 Central Yup'ik population speaks the language. Yup'ik is the first language for children in about 17 of the 68 Yup'ik villages.

Central Alaskan Yup'ik has five major dialects:

  • General Central Yup'ik
  • Norton Sound Yup'ik
  • Hooper Bay-Chevak Cup'ik
  • Nunivak Cup'ik
  • Egegik Yup'ik
