Central Delaware Valley AVA

A 96,000 acre viticultural area located along both sides of the Delaware River in southeast Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The southern end of the area starts around Titusville, New Jersey, just north of Trenton, and runs north to Musconetcong Mountain. Area wineries use hybrids like chambourcin, chancellor, leon millot, seyval blanc and vidal blanc; and vitis vinifera grapes like chardonnay, riesling, cabernet sauvignon and pinot noir.
