The Central Hindi Directorate (केन्द्रीय हिन्दी निदेशालय Kendriya Hindi Nideshalaya)is the department, under the Human Resource Ministry of India, responsible for promotion of Hindi language. It also regulates the use of Devanagari script and Hindi spelling in India.[1]
