(design engineering) A tool for turning pipe, using a chain to encircle and grasp the pipe.

A plumber’s wrench for turning pipe, consisting of a lever arm which has sharp teeth that engage the pipe and a short, adjustable chain which is wrapped around the pipe and holds the pipe securely.
