School Layout: Brush is separated into four sections. The A wing is the original school that was opened in 1927. The B wing was added in the 1960s and houses the school's English classrooms, along with the library. Not long after, John C Welser Gymnasium was added to the school, named for a coach in Brush's history. The C and D wings were added in the 1970s. There is another gym on campus, that is adjacent to the football field and track.

Brush also has an LGI room which is now used as a studio for the Brush Audio Video Department. Brush A/V is home to AV/TV which can be seen on public access Channel 22.

The P.A.C.(Performing Arts Center) was built with the original school. It has been renovated over the years. The Brush drama program and A/V program regularly use this facility, and it also used for some assemblies and meetings.

Brush has an alternative school adjacent to the campus, called Arc Tech Academy.

Sports

Brush High School houses eight tennis courts, a turfed football and soccer field, a track, and a softball field. Brush uses the baseball fields at Greenview Upper Elementary School, and swimming pools at John Carrol and Notre Dame Universities. There have been rumors that there is an unfinished pool underneath Welser Gym, apparently unfinished after the school ran out of money this room allegedly now houses boilers. There are talks about a possible community recreation center at Brush on the eastern side of the campus where the Softball field, and tennis courts are located. There have not been any further aligations of the Recreation Center being built at the site.

Clubs

Brush has an extremely diverse population and the school has many student clubs. These include: Art Club, Anime Club, Photo Club, Drama, Gospel Choir, Key Club, Academic Team, Christian Fellowship, Chess, Student Congress, Knitting club, Robotics, Environmental club, a Gourmet Cooking Club, and Web club. Brush students also have the option to start a new club or sports team.

Brush has an advanced A/V club that handles the audio and visual needs for the entire district. It currently has 7 members, which do everything from video editing to directing. The club is led by Mike Bubnow, a Kent native and former member of The Numbers Band 15.60.75.
