Charles Henry

Henry, Charles (1859-1926). As a scientist at the École des Hautes Études in Paris, Henry carried out research in experimental psychology which played an important part in aesthetic debates in the 1880s, notably in Seurat's theories of colour and in literary Symbolism's efforts to establish a scientific basis for their theories of the relationship between the arts.
