Biography

Pilot/cinematographer Charles Marshall was behind the aerial photography of the silent version of Ben Hur (1926) and other films, including The Big Parade and Hell Divers. In 1943, he and fellow cinematographers shared an Oscar nomination for the photography of Air Force.
