Charles-Timoléon de Beauxoncles Sigogne
Sigogne, Charles-Timoléon de Beauxoncles, seigneur de (c.1560-1611). Combatant in the Wars of Religion and notable practitioner of the crudely vituperative and inventively picturesque form of satire in vogue in the early 17th c. About 75 of his pieces figure in recueils libres (mixed collections) of the time.
