Charles Wilson Cross (born: 30 November 1872 – died: 2 June 1928) was a politician from Alberta, Canada.
Provincial political career
He served as member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the Alberta Liberal Party from 1905 to 1925.
Charles Cross was the only MLA in Alberta history to run in and be elected in two districts. He was elected in both Edmonton and Edson in 1913 and he represented both districts until 1917. He served as Attorney General during his time in office in Alberta.
Federal career
He resigned from the legislature to run for the Canadian House of Commons. He was elected in 1925 Canadian federal election he defeated incumbent Donald Ferdinand Kellner to win the new Athabaska for the Liberal Party of Canada. He was defeated in a rematch with Kellner in the 1926 Canadian federal election.
