Plot

This PBS video presents a performance by child singing sensation Charlotte Church, the Welsh girl who took the classical music world by storm with her debut CD, Voice of an Angel, in 1999. This video features Church in concert, in an ancient and holy setting at the Tower of David, in Jerusalem. She performs with the Ra'amana Symphonette Orchestra, the Chamber Cantus Choir, and Ilan pipe master Uri Myers. She also sings a duet with Marina Blumen. Church's soprano voice rings clear on songs including The Lord's Prayer, Ave Maria, "Guide Me O Thy Great Redeemer," "Last Rose of Summer," as well as her signature piece Pie Jesu. ~ Rose of Sharon Winter, All Movie Guide
