Chase & Status are a dance/electronic production duo from London consisting of Saul Milton and Will Kennard.
They released a successful remix of Dancehall artist Capleton's track "Who Dem" entitled "Duppy Man" in the UK in October 2005.[1][2]
They have had previous success with their 12" releases Iron Fist/Zulu King, Love's Theme/Wise Up (Remix), Dumpling Riddim/Disco and their 2006 release The Druids EP, of which the 'C' track 'Come Back' had extensive Radio 1 airplay. The track featured vocals from the rapper Top Cat. A track entitled 'Brazil' has been released on Ram Records as part of the Dimensions EP Part 3.
They have also created a remix version of Invaders Must Die for The Prodigy. The remix reached 53 in the Australian Aria Singles Chart and 7 in the Aria Dance Chart.
They have their own record label MTA Records (More Than Alot).

They have had three number ones on the UK Dance Chart. In 2007 with the double A-side "Hurt You"/"Sell Me Your Soul", and in 2008 with "Take Me Away"/"Judgement" (Informer). On 5 October 2008, they made number 70 on the national singles chart and number one on the UK Dance Chart again with their single "Pieces" featuring vocals by Plan B. In 2009, they made number 45 with "Against All Odds" which featured UK rapper Kano.
Chase & Status' first album, More Than Alot, debuted in the UK album charts at number 49 on 19 October 2008 and entered the UK dance album chart at number 2.
On the 8th of November 2009 Chase & Status entered the UK top 40 for the first time with "End Credits" featuring Plan B. This entered at number 9 and is their biggest hit to date.
Their album More Than Alot received the Best Album Award at the 2009 Drum and Bass awards, Birmingham, UK.
Chase & Status will start the first UK tour on the 24th of September 2009 in Plymouth, ending in London on the 4th of December playing 34 dates.
They are currently producing and co-writing for Rihanna's fourth studio album and on New Years Eve they are headlining the world famous Brixton Academy for 'Get Loaded in the Dark' alongside Simian Mobile Disco, Annie Mac (BBC Radio 1), Herve and Sub Focus.
Chase & Status (Live) will also be performing at the Australian Good Vibrations Festivals in early 2010 alongside Basement Jaxx, Armand Van Helden, The Gossip & The Killers.
They will play the Warriors Dance Festival at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes on 24 July 2010. This will be in support of The Prodigy, their biggest headline gig to date. Other acts currently named to play the date include Pendulum, Enter Shikari and Does It Offend You, Yeah?.
