Chateaugay Correctional Facility (ASACTC) is a medium security prison and state Alcohol & Substance Abuse Correctional Treatment Center in Franklin County, New York, USA. The prison is in the town of Chateaugay.
Chateaugay C.F. along with other upstate facilities, provide employment in an otherwise depressed economy.
The prison opened in 1990. Among the programs offered to the inmates is participation in social programs to aid residents of the region. Every prisoner must attend individual and group counseling education respecting the nature of addiction and alcoholism.
