It was first introduced in the 1957 movie, The Joker Is Wild.

The song has been recorded by many artists, but is best known in a version by Frank Sinatra.

The song was introduced in H.C. Potter's 1939 film The Story of Vernon and Irene Castle, starring Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire.
