Biography

Not to be confused with several other acts also of the same name, New York's the Children were a folk-rock/jangle-pop quartet featuring singers/songwriters Claudia Handler and Joe Jedrlinic, as well as Theresa Pesco and Michael LaVolpe. Originally signed to the Scale of Miles label, the Children released two albums, a 1989 self-titled effort and 1990's Every Single Day. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
