Chilton Foliat is a village and civil parish in the English county of Wiltshire. In the 2001 census, the parish had a population of 394. The services are very limited, with no shop, but a pub called The Wheatsheaf.

They have a school at the top of Stag Hill called Chilton Foliat C of E Primary.

It was the location for successful gardening programmes produced by the BBC such as The Victorian Kitchen Garden.

The village is also referred to in the HBO series Band of Brothers, as the location where Captain Herbert Sobel was sent to train non-combat military support personnel who needed paratrooper training.

Chilton Foliat is in the extreme east of the county of Wiltshire, on the banks of the River Kennet in the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The small Berkshire town of Hungerford is only one mile to the south.
