Game Description
Chiral combines Tetris with the science of molecular bonding. Using variously colored atoms, you must assemble them into stable molecules that satisfy all of the molecular bonds the atoms need.In each wave you must put together a certain number of stable molecules using atoms that require from one to four bonds. The atoms fall one at a time into a test tube. By clicking on certain spaces on the black screen, you place the atoms from the bottom of the tube.
In addition to the regular atoms, there are a number of others that appear in higher waves. The first is a mystery atom that needs a variable number of bonds to be satisfied. Another is a heavy atom. Once placed, it cannot be removed or moved. Speed Atoms speed up the rate of atoms falling into the test tube. When the tube fills, the game is over unless you zap them away. You only get a certain number of zaps per level. A different type of atom, the zapper, removes all the bonded atoms from the playing field.

Review: Overall
If you liked Tetris or Dr. Mario, you'll love Chiral. It takes Tetris to the next level by building puzzles or molecules from the inside out. Brightly colored atoms fall into a test tube one at a time and you must use them to build stable molecules by linking them into a larger molecules. When a molecule is satisfied, the dots in the center (showing the number of bonds needed to satisfy them) disappear. When all the dots on all the molecules disappear, the molecule is stable. The molecule then disappears and you are free to work on the next molecule you need.In addition to the regular atoms, some specials occasionally show up. The most numerous are mystery atoms, which need a random number of bonds to be satisfied. Speed atoms speed up the rate of atoms falling into the test tube. Several of these on the playing field can make your life difficult, indeed!
Other specials include Heavy atoms. Normal atoms can be moved or removed by clicking on them, which changes the molecule in place with the one at the bottom of the test tube. Heavy Atoms cannot be switched, no matter what. Multiplier atoms can satisfy more than one bond at once, and radioactive atoms blast everything on the screen. All bonded atoms on the screen disappear.
The atoms come fast and furious and so does the action in this game. You'll be simultaneously pulling your hair out and on the edge of your seat at the action. And maybe, just maybe, you might learn something about science as well while you're at it.
