Choregos (Birtwistle: Punch and Judy). Low bar. The operator of the Punch-and-Judy booth who comments on the action. One of Punch's victims, he returns as the hangman Jack Ketch and is tricked into putting his own neck in the noose. Created (1968) by Geoffrey Chard.
