Christine Ebner

Ebner, Christine (Nuremberg, 1277-1355, Engelthal), a Dominican nun and later prioress at Engelthal Abbey, who compiled, on the instructions of her superiors, a MS. recounting the lives and mystical visions of her fellow nuns. It is entitled Büchlein von der Gnaden Überlast and was written before 1346. Her own visions and life were recorded for her by another nun.
