The first disc is a treasure trove of piano Christmas classics, with the ever-reputable Starlite Studio Players dutifully handling the role of translating these holiday anthems into perfect atmospheric background ambience for those family get-togethers. The lush, melancholic yet equally festive arrangements will be sure to make the evening a memorable, relaxing one. And while the first disc is a plethora of instrumentals, the second disc finds the able-bodied Knightsbridge Choir taking the helm. With their angelic voices, the group works through both traditional and religious anthems with grace and poise. It's an economically sensible alternative to all of those high-priced compilations that fail to deliver the holiday goods, and the quality is worth every single penny.
