Dunne, [Christopher] Lee (1934- ), novelist. Born in Dublin, he wrote his early fiction while working as a taxi-driver in London. Goodbye to the Hill (1965), a lively evocation of working-class life in Dublin, was followed by A Bed in the Sticks (1968), Does Your Mother? (1970), Paddy Maguire Is Dead (1972) and Ringleader (1980).
