Ciments Français expects business to be rock solid, as it has since 1881. The company is one of the largest cement producers in France, but it also has operations in about a dozen countries across Europe, Asia, and North America. Ciments Français' annual production includes some 50 million tons of cement (two-thirds of sales), in addition to aggregates and ready-mixed concrete. The company's operations include more than 40 cement plants, nearly 100 aggregate quarries, and more than 300 ready-mixed concrete plants. It owns more than 50% of Egypt's Suez Cement, while Italian cement group Italcementi owns more than 80% of Ciments Français.
