Review
The Amatucci five typify the Italian lounge act happy to perform for tourists aboard Mediterranean cruise ships. Songs range from the universally obligatory "More" and "The Girl from Ipanema" to mandatory Italian ("Volare" and many others). Some are instrumental, some poorly crooned, and a few fall somewhere in between. No telling if there was ever another before or after this souvenir album, but all bets are against. Still, the neatly suited group have plenty of enthusiasm, which in the wacky world of [obscure] lounge acts, is exactly what it takes. ~ Tony Wilds, All Music GuideTracks
