A combination of circuit training and resistance training. Typically, it involves working at 40-60% of maximum strength for 30 s with a 15-s recovery period. Circuit resistance training improves strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility. It can also increase muscle mass and decrease body fat content. Its beneficial effects on aerobic endurance are slight.
