Citi Private Bank provides personalized wealth management services for affluent clients who include many entrepreneurs, families, and senior corporate executives. With 90 offices in 58 cities in 31 countries, it is one of the world's most global private banks.

Its private banking services are divided between its High Net Worth and Law Firm groups, which focus on servicing the needs of high net worth individuals and law firms and their lawyers. The Citi Private Bank's Investment Solutions group provides investment advisory services to the bank's clients. Its Capital Markets group provides clients services in fixed income, equities, and foreign exchange, among other areas. The Citi Private Bank is now part of Citi's Institutional Clients Group, which also comprises Citi Investment Research.

As of February 2009, Rich Ditizio and Mark Connolly are the co-CEOs of the Citi Private Bank - US, replacing John Longley.
