The City Law School is an academic department of City University, London located near Northampton Square in the Clerkenwell district of London. The law school offers a three-year undergraduate LL.B programme, a two-year Graduate Entry LL.B degree programme, several LL.M masters programmes as well as the CPE (Common Professional Examination) course (also known as the Graduate Diploma in Law). This latter programme enjoys a nationwide reputation as one of Britain's elite qualifying diploma courses for non-law graduates.
In addition to its academic programmes, the City Law School also incorporates the Inns of Court School of Law which administers the Bar Vocational Course (for barristers) and the Legal Practice Course (for solicitors).
Approximately 550 students are enrolled at the City Law School each year.
The current Director of the City Law School is Professor Peter Kunzlik.
