Clamart (klämär'), suburb SW of Paris (1990 pop. 47,755), Hauts-de-Seine dept., N central France. There are pharmaceutical laboratories, a tobacco factory, and nurseries in the town. Fruits and vegetables are grown, and tourism is important. On the outskirts are an airplane factory and a military airfield.

Clamart is a commune in the south-western suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 8.7 km (5.4 miles) from the center of Paris.
The city is divided into two parts, separated by a forest: bas Clamart, the historical centre, and petit Clamart with urbanization developed in the 1960s replacing pea fields.
