Clanwilliam is a small town in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is situated in the Cederberg municipality in the West coast region approximately 60km inland, close to Cederberg mountains. This is also the birth place of ZP Theart, lead vocalist of the British power metal band DragonForce.
The region is known for rooibos tea and the Clanwilliam dam.
