Cranc, Claus, a Minorite friar in Thorn, recorded between 1323 and 1335, is the author of a verse translation of the prophetic books of the Bible, which he executed for Siegfried von Dahenfeld, marshal of the Teutonic Order from 1347 to 1359 (see Deutscher Orden).
